Grady's Baptism....June 5, 2010

Our little nephew got baptised yesterday. Sam's brother, Eli, baptised Grady and his dad, Ryan, confirmed him. After the baptism Stacey and Ryan had a lunch for him at the park. The kids played ball and chased Lewis down. It was really fun and a beautiful day.
We are so proud of you Grady! You always make us smile!

Take Time to Smell the Flowers....June 3, 2010

Since my mom is in California helping Mike and Jamie; my dad, Meghan, Dave, Tage, and me planted my moms flower and vegetable gardens. We pulled it off in one day. Great things happen when we pull together. (Even Tage was an aweome help, he helped me and meghan dig holes and he helped grandpa and dave get more flowers.) It was good to stop and smell the flowers together for a day. We really needed that. GOOD JOB everyone!

Hadlie's Dance Recital.... June 2, 2010

Hadlie performed so well at her dance recital. The theme of the recital was: BROADWAY. Hadlie danced to: FOR GOOD from Wicked and WE GO TOGETHER from Grease. I always get so emotional watching her perform. It's one of the BEST THINGS ABOUT BEING A MOM; watching your children succeed.

We LOVE YOU HADLIE! You're beautiful inside and out. Way to go!

Dinosaur Park.....May 17, 2010

Some girls in my ward and I had a little Pre-school that we did for 8 weeks with our kids. The last day of Tage's Pre-school we went to the dinosaur park. Tage loved all the dinosaurs and the play ground. While we were there he spoke a lot of when my dad and Dave took him and Daxton last year to the Dinosaur park when Paizlie was in the NICU. I was surprised he remembered it so well from last year. He enjoys doing things with his "buddies" grandpa and uncle Dave.

Another RUN BABY RUN....May 15, 2010

OGDEN HALF MARATHON!
My friend Meghan and I ran the Ogden half marathon again this year. Out of all the races I have ran in, I'd have to say this one was the worst. Our time was descent but on mile 7 I had shooting daggers in my knees. I thought I was going to die. Every step hurt. At mile 9 I told Meghan to go ahead of me. She came a few Min's ahead of me at the finish line. So needless to say, I hope the next one I do, Layton half, will be better. I guess I'd better keep running....
Good Job Meghan! Next year we will do better! :)

Congrates Dave and Meghan! USU....May 8, 2010

Dave and Meghan graduated from the USU! Hip, hip, HOORAY! Paizlie, my dad, my mom, my grandma, and I went to their graduation. It was really nice! Good Job guys. We are so "proud" of you!

We Are The Robertson's....

Sam and I are products of the Spanish Fork Singles Ward. When we met, Sam was the ward mission leader and I was a stake missionary. We dated for 3 months then I served a mission. After I returned home we married in November 1999. We have four beautiful children: Hadlie, Daxton, Tage, and Paizlie. Our family is growing bigger and better everyday. Since we don't live close to our immediate families we hope this blog will capture our memories we are making and allow our families and friends to watch us grow and progress everyday.

Daxton

Daxton is 7 years old. He is our perfectionist. He works on something until it looks just so. He runs on his own time schedule. He is very anaylitical. We think he'll follow in his Grandpa Owen's and Uncle Dave's footsteps one day and become an Engineer. Daxton loves to play with his friends, play baseball, and play piano. He loves playing the Wii. He's very good at it. Daxton knows how to do things right: he starts out slow until he figures all the in's and out's then he cruises through the task. Daxton loves his mom. He and Jen have a strong bond. He loves school. He's a good listener and a great big brother to Tage.

Paizlie

Paizlie is 2 years old. She is our peacemaker. She has brought alot of happiness and joy into our lives. She is always happy. She loves to play with her stuff dogs, her babies, and her brothers and sister. She mimic's her siblings all the time. She wants to be a big kid too.Paizllie is a 100% grandpa girl. She LOVES, and I mean, LOVES her two grandpa's. She makes me open up our blog almost everyday so she can see pictures of her two grandpa's. She has a very sweet spirit and nature about her. We are so glad she came to our family.

My Dad's A Hero

I, Jen, illustrated this book for two friends of mine, Jewel Armstrong and Rebecca Christensen, whom wrote the book. Together, we self published it in 2007. We have been sending it to military families and military schools around the nation to help children with deployed parents. Our book perviously won the 2007 Golden Quill Award from the American Authors Association and the 2007 Don Hanson Award for Creativity from the Military Writers Society of America. We now have learned that Scholastic Books is now going to carry it for the next 7 years in their book order magazines. We are very excited about it. It's so awesome!
