Christmas 2011

Our Christmas events......

Robins' Family Christmas Party!
December 23rd
This year was a successful party.  We had quite a few great pieces of entertainment.  Besides the kids performances, Brian sang opera for Brighton who would not sing.  Needless to say, it was hilarious!  Haley got engaged in front of the whole family.  It was a little tear jerky!  Mike and Jamie came as well so that was great!

Paizlie opening her present.
Tage man got a nerf gun.
Hadlie and Tage trying to help Paizlie perform "Once There Was A Snowman."
(obviously she wasn't too into performing).

December 24th Sam's family all met at Jerry's grave site.  We wrote Christmas notes to grandpa and sent them up on balloons to heaven.  This is the first year grandpa will not be with us.  It was an emotional event.  "We miss you grandpa Jerry!"

Our whole family sending our love.
Later that evening, we had Christmas Eve and Bobbi's.  We had a wonderful meal.  Sam and his siblings also had a very special present given to them from their mom, Bobbi.  The scouts and cub scouts in our family dressed in the scout uniforms and presented each of the siblings a flag.  The flag represented Jerry's service in the military.  There were many tears shed.  It was a beautiful surprise.  We sure miss our grandpa....

Jordan and Casey.
 Daxton presented Sam his flag....

Lewis, Kagen, Grady, and Daxton.  Our Scouts!

Grandma also gave the kiddos a few Christmas Eve gifts as well.

We spent the night at Grandma Bobbi's this year.
Kiddos getting ready for Santa to visit.

 Christmas morning....

Daxton, Kagen, Tage, and Hadlie playing their new Wii Game, Just Dance 3!
We stopped in at Dave and Meagan's house to see Mike and his family.
Back to Grandma Bobbi's to open Christmas from Grandma Bobbi.
 What's up Grady?

Spoiled kiddos!
Gifts given to Grandma.  Andrea wrote a poem for Jerry's funeral.  She designed and had it printed on a canvas for Bobbi.  It was really sweet.  A lot of tears have been shed this Christmas!
