Best Friends Forever....

These two crazy girls are such good friends. They always have so much fun together. We love Kelsey a lot. Hadlie wanted me to take a picture of them this morning before school. They turned out cute so I thought I would throw them up on the blog.

Snuggle Bunny.....January 23, 2010

Paizlie loves to snuggle just about anything. We love it! She loves to hold her blankets or little stuff animals close to her face when she falls asleep. She also always tilts her head to the side as far as it can go, whether she is in her car seat or crib asleep. When she's in her crib she scootches her way into the very top corner of her crib, tilts her head to the side, and stuffs her little face into her bumper bad. It makes me nervous a lot. I am always checking to make sure she is breathing. But that's Princess P for you, our snuggle bunny!

Sweet Dreams P...

Ironically enough I was looking through my pictures and look who did the same thing when he was Paizlie's age, Yes, Tage! However, he would put his face under the bumper pad. Crazy kids!

U of U Gymnastics......January 15, 2010

My friend Carrie invited Hadlie and I for a little mommy daughter date with her and her daughter, Cambrie. She had a ticket to a U of U Gymnastics meet. We decided to ride the front runner down to Salt Lake then take Trax up to the University. Hadlie and Cambrie were very wound up and drove us crazy but it was really fun. The girls chose to sit in the nose bleeds seats. They were screaming very loud for the gymnist and about made Carrie and I deaf.

We watched the gymnist all perform then tried to get back on Trax to make the 9:27 pm train home. However, as we were running to the Trax we missed it. It pulled away right as we were crossing the street... So to make a long story short we had to wait on the front runner for a hour or until the next departure, which was 10:30 pm, to get home. However, We met a really nice family and made new friends while we waited. Hadlie and Cambrie entertained their cute boys.

We then arrive home around 11:15 pm. Cambrie stayed the night and I let them do gymnastic in our family room unitl midnight. They both want to be gymnist now.

We had a fun time. Thanks Carrie for inviting us.

Freezing our behinds off waiting for the train..

Carrie and I got a kick out of this sign: Thank you for stating the obvious...we almost got lost!

Owen Family Photo Shoot....December 24, 2009

While Mike and Jamie were in town for the holidays, my mom wanted us to all take family pictures. My cousin wife, Cynthia Robins, has a photography business and she took our pictures. She was so nice to come to my moms house on Christmas Eve and take them for us.

Dave, Jen, and Mike......December 24, 2009

If any of you know me and my brothers, you know we love a good laugh! We also love to do stupid things for those good laughs. I'm sure our parents roll their eyes every time we are together. We are always cracking jokes, doing silly things, or singing and dancing around.

I love my brothers very much! Growing up I often wished I had a sister, but in reality if I did have one, I don't think I would have such a great relationship with my two little brothers. We are very close and even though we live far apart from each other, when we get together it is as if time apart never occurred. We never skip a beat. Our relationship only grows stronger.

So this is us....we always have to throw something like this into what we are doing...

We can be serious too, when needed...

Good-bye Trudy....January 10, 2010

We decided to give Trudy back to her breeders this past Sunday. She deserves a better life than what we can offer her right now. It was a sad day for our family but we know she'll be happy there and live in a warm shelter. Her breeders/new owners want to start showing her in Dog Shows. It will be interesting to see how she does. They believe she'll do VERY WELL since she is such a good looking dog.

We'll miss her a lot! Good Luck Trudy! We love you!

Happy Birthday Hadlie....January 03, 2010!

We celebrated Hadlie's Birthday two times. Once, with my family and Sam's parents, then, we attempted to celebrate it again with Sam's family at the cabin. However, everyone packed up and left the cabin on the morning of Hadlie's Birthday so we weren't' able to have cake at the cabin. So we came home and had cake with her. She had a lot of fun. Hadlie finally got her AMERICAN GIRL doll. She was so cute. She was so excited to get to her doll that she flew threw her other gifts.
I look at Hadlie and can't believe how big she is getting. It make me sad but also I see what a beautiful girl she has become. She is giving, outgoing, and intelligent. I look forward to see everything she will accomplish within the upcoming years of her life.
We love you Hadlie and we are so thankful you are in our family. You are a wonderful daughter and you make us smile and laugh everyday. You're beautiful.

Cabin at Scolfield with the Robertson Bunch...Jan 1-3 2010

Stacey and Ryan rented a friends cabin and invited the family to stay up there with them over the weekend. Bobbi and Jerry, Stacey's family, Eli's family, and our family all went up there. We had a blast. We watched movies, played games, made cookies, went sledding, and tried a little snow boarding. Thanks for having us. We really enjoyed spending time with the family!

Aizlyn and Paizlie....December 30 2009

Aizlyn is the cutest girl. She loved taking care of Paizlie while she was here. She was so loving and careful with her. She loved to feed and to play with her. It was so cute. She told me..."Aunt Jen, we need a baby Paizlie in our family too." I said, "Yes you do. You'll need to ask Heavenly Father to give you one." She was so adorable with Paizlie. She is the best little cousin a baby could have.

Skiing at Sundance....December 29, 2009

I took Hadlie skiing for the first time with Mike, Jamie, Trae, Aizlynn, Troy, and Trevor(Mikes Best Friend and his son). Mike and Jamie take their kids skiing every year so I asked Mike if Hadlie and I could tag along and if Mike would help teach Hadlie to ski. We had so much fun. Hadlie tore it up. Mike's friend, Troy, took Hadlie, Trae, and his son, Trevor, pretty much the whole day. Troy was very impressed by Hadlie and her athletic abilities.
We got to the resort about 9:00am and skied till noon. We ate lunch at the lodge. Aizlyn was so tired she fell asleep. Mike, Troy, Hadlie, Trae, and Trevor went back to the Mountain for more skiing while Jamie and I stayed with Aizlyn while she slept for a bit. Later we woke her up and hit the slopes again till 4:30pm. We were all tired and enjoyed the day together.
Thanks Mike and Troy for teaching Hadlie how to ski. She loved it and wants to do it again. You guys are the BEST!
