Our Christmas......December 24-27, 2010

This Christmas was very nice. We had a three or four busy days. But, they were filled with lots of family fun. We went to Spanish Fork for Christmas this year. My brother, Mike, and his family came up to spend Christmas one last time at our parents home before they move to Texas. It was a little sad for all of us but we had a very enjoyable time as well.

We also spent time with Sam's family. We had a very nice Christmas with his family too. We love all the traditions Grandma Bobbi has. She always makes everything special. One thing I really love about Bobbi, is she ALWAYS incorporates the Savior in our family traditions. She has a strong testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and she always shares her love of Him with all of us.

Here was our wonderful holiday:

Christmas Eve....
Grandpa Jerry sporting his new winter gear...
Grandma Bobbi helping Paizlie open her Christmas Eve p.j.'s.
Bobbi gets everyone cute Christmas Eve p.j.'s every year.
Tage opening his p.j.'s...
Ta da, Daxton got Spiderman p.j.'s...ALRIGHT!
Hadlie got PEACE p.j.'s....PERFECT!
Me getting ready to open mine. I was really excited....
Sam Dawg was too!
Afterwords, we went to my parents home to have Christmas Eve dinner together with my parents and my brother's family.
The kids waiting to eat...
Nanny waiting to serve her delicious meal.
The Angel Tree: This tree is very special to my brother's family and the rest of us as well. It's for my niece and nephew who past away last May. It was so cute. Jamie brought it with them and it was displayed in my mom's front room.
After Christmas Eve dinner, Grandpa had a very special gift for everyone. He pulled out of his Santa sack NERF guns for EVERYONE. We all, including adults, went down stairs and had a huge NERF gun war. We split up on two teams and had a blast playing NERF war. It was so much fun! Grandpa always has something special for everyone on Christmas Eve.
The kids in their Christmas Eve p.j.'s.
The kids were so excited. I love to watch them. They make Christmas wonderful.
Christmas morning....
Daxton got the Star Wars Wii game.
Tage opening his Lego's.
Hadlie opening her big gift, the A.G. doll bunk bed.
Grandpa's tradition EVERY YEAR! Throw all the paper in the middle of the room then he bary's himself and pops out. The kids LOVE IT! I did too when I was little.
Later on we went back to Grandma Bobbi's to open up her Christmas gifts. Grandma Bobbi is always so good to us. She is always very generous. She also makes the BEST food for Christmas. She feeds us like kings. One great tradition I love about going to Sam's parents home is they watch EVERYONE, one by one, open their gifts. We go youngest to oldest and everyone opens one gift. Then we start again until all the gifts are open. It's fun to really see what everyone got. This year, the kids got some cute super man/girl capes that Grandma Bobbi made.
Tage opening his gifts...
Daxton opening his gifts as well.
Day after Christmas...
Sam playing with Baxter.
Mike, Jamie, Hadlie, Daxton, Trae, Aizlyn, Baxter, and I all went to see my grandma, Grandma Robins. We had a wonderful afternoon visiting with her and seeing all the gifts she got.

The kids with Great Grandma Robins.
Monday, the 26th, Grandma and Grandpa Owen took all of us to Pirate Island for Pizza. The kids, and I mean, all the kids, including Sam and Mike, had a ball.
Paizlie.
Tage and Aizlyn playing in the arcades.
Daxton and Trae winning tickets, tickets, tickets.
Mike and Sam racing until their hearts content.
We had a really nice Christmas! It was wonderful to share it with both of our families. There is nothing better than sharing the holidays with family.
